Precautionary Boil Water Advisory to Consumers of Paris Water System is LIFTED
As of February 3, 2026, the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for customers in the Paris Water System - Paris Virginia, 20130
The Boil Water Advisory was issued on February 1, 2026, following a service interruption and loss of water pressure affecting customers.
A series of bacteriological samples was collected and sent to a state-certified lab. All samples collected on February 2, 2026, and February 3, 2026, were absent from both total coliform and E. coli bacteria in the area where the Boil Water Advisory is currently being lifted.
Following flushing the service line and premise plumbing, residents can safely resume normal use of their tap water.
